Homecoming is here and brings our first 3:30 game of the year. This week is the start of our Big Ten season and brings the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. While we often serve Italian Beef Sandwiches from Chicago for homecoming, this year we are switching things up and serving a selection of BBQ from one of our local restaurants. Generally we bring in smoked chicken, pulled pork and brisket along with Mac & Cheese, and fresh creamy coleslaw. We need to get the initial order in Wednesday with an option to increase things on Thursday. That means sign up ASAP people. No more Friday 10pm signups, you know who you are 😉
THIS WEEK’S LOGISTICS:
This week will kick off at 3:30PM. The tailgate starts MUCH earlier of course.
The tailgate crew will be in place bright and early to get things set up. If you ever have an interest in helping out let us know (especially for the Northwestern game in October).
The Italian Beef may make an encore appearance some time later this season as well.
BREAKFAST?
Let us know if you plan to arrive early – if so, sign up for the breakfast slot. We will have mimosas for the early arrivers and based on #s we will decide on early food. Feel free to sign up to bring a breakfast dish if you are coming as your side/dessert contribution.
ATWATER BEER & HARD SELTZER:
Sign up for $10 for beer & hard seltzer if you are interested. The hard cherry seltzer was a hit for the Washington game so we will have it again this week. The draft beer ordered is Dirty Blonde.
