Our first tailgate must have been the spark our team needed to have a big win.  It was great to see everyone to start the season and we are looking forward to doing it again this weekend.  This week we take on the SMU Mustangs at 3:30pm and we will be keeping it simple by having burgers, brats and dogs one more time.

How many of you have ever wanted to see what it takes to setup and take down the tailgate?  Well this week could be your perfect opportunity. You see Ken decided to take a work trip that will keep him out of town until after the game and Neal and Tim have post game obligations.  So we are looking for assistance to get the gear out after the game.  If you can help let us know.

Due to the 3:30 game time we will not really kick off the tailgate until close to noon.  We will have food both before and after the game (as long as we can find people to help at the end.)

A reminder that our tailgates are BYOB. If enough people signup we plan to again have a keg for those who wish to participate. So please do use the signup sheet to let everyone know that 1) you are coming to the tailgate and 2) what you’ll be bringing. Last week we were a tad short on side dishes and desserts so please be sure to bring something.  Please ask one of the hosts if you need the password. Previous attendees will likely be able to figure it out again this year.

Well that was not the start of the season that we wanted… I guess we need a home tailgate to shake off the results from last weekend.  And so it begins. It is finally here, the first home game week of the season! We have been busy cleaning off the dust and cleaning the tailgating equipment and are ready for the Michigan Football season home opener! Now all we need is you!

As has been tradition, our season kick-off tailgate will be burgers, brats and dogs. We continue our process of taking care of the main dish along with water and soda.

As always, our tailgates are BYOB. We plan to again have a keg for those who wish to participate.
