Game 7 Indiana Hoosiers

Welcome back tailgaters! What a season so far with an awesome 6-0 start. This week we have a noon game and with the start of the cooler weather games we thought it would be a great time to share your best sloppy joes for the crew. After a couple of weeks away from the Big House it will be great to get back.

So here is the plan, for a $10 contribution per person we will bring in the main course including hotdogs for the kids, buns, water, and pop. For those who are going to make sloppy joes just bring enough for the size of your group and cut down your contribution appropriately. If you bring sloppy joes we will have the grill to heat things up so consider using double ziplock bags to bring it in. If you are bringing a crockpot please not it in your signup. Also be sure to bring a side dish or dessert to pass, some weeks have been a tad empty. And for those who want to join in on the kegs we are planning on having some sort of beer from Atwater and Seltzer from War Water. Please sign up for that for the $10 contribution per person.

Game 4 Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Has everyone recovered from the night game? While the lights were amazing, and the video boards so bright, we are not yet recovered from the lack of sleep. A huge thanks to those who came and setup as well as those who stayed and helped take things down. Now on to the Rutgers game.

An annual tradition for homecoming has been the arrival of the Italian Beef Sandwiches from Chicago, but not this year. You see our Chicago connection is skipping town for the weekend and we cannot have it without him. So we will keep things simple and just do burgers and dogs. Plus that means a cheaper tailgate for everyone.

A reminder on how the tailgate works. For a flat contribution we will bring in the burgers, dogs, water and pop. Then all you have to do is bring in a side dish to pass or a dessert. Be sure to help out in this area as 2 of the first 3 games were rather light on sides and desserts. We really appreciate the people who went above and beyond and brought more than their size group as it made it so we did not run out of everything. Also, without Ken we will not be having pierogis.

Once again this week we will have something special to start. And not to fear, the Italian Beef Sandwiches are scheduled for the Purdue game.
